though through a cloudy lens seen darkly. . .

I really wish our camera lens were not so cloudy; the grime explains the glare on the photos below.  And our first images of Poulsbo, to boot.  Oh, well.

We ride every day to school and back.

Martin coaches the little girls (Bea and her cousin Eliora) and Merry helps as assistant coach.
Here's Martin all tricked out with trailer and handy-dandy bike baskets--he's loaded down here with gear for the Anna, my niece's, birthday party.  There's the ole Sube and there's our sweet little red house.

This park is about five minutes or less away from our house.  Above is a view down to Liberty Bay (through our dirty camera lens at dusk) and downtown Poulsbo.  We can walk there by way of a wilderness trail that takes us through huge ferns, old cedars, and high-schoolers smoking pot.  The park's children's garden, from where the photo of Poulsbo was taken, is one of our favorite destinations.  Isn't Elspeth's bike cute?

A dirty lens gives one a new perspective on the world!
Kind of like glasses that are never quite clean!
The girls are growing up FAR too fast!
